Book Description: Red cloth hardback with black lettering to the front and spine with blind stamp lettering to the boards. Spine ends and corners are bumped and are beginning to fray in corners. Boards are generally marked and worn. Is a scarce item and is dated by the 24 pages of advert at the rear of the book. Bottom of page ends are un-cut and internally the pages are for the most part clean though have darkened with age. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 585g. Brown leather boards with no lettering to front or spine, spine label missing. Boards are marked with small cracks to leather on front board. Corners bumped and worn. Slight wear to edges. Spine is age darkened with bumping to top and bottom. Page edges are grubby. There are five raised bands to the spine which are worn and rubbed. Decorative leather on spine is dry and cracked. FFEP and RFEP are missing. B/w frontispiece. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is mostly clean. 511 pp + decication and preface. Some pencil markings to the FEP. Pages are age darkened.
