Beige card covers with black lettering to front. One or two minor marks to covers. Slight bumping to corners. Bottom right hand corner on front has been neatly cut off. Slight wear to board edges. Wear to spine, with some loss at ends. Page edges are slightly grubby. The advert section has been removed from both the front and rear of the volume although the main textblock appears complete. Front inner hinge is just starting to give. Rear inner hinge is starting to crack. Textblock is just starting to give. Colourful frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. 232 pp. Many b/w illustrations. 'In the Colonna Garden' is listed in the index but does not appear within the textblock. There is no evidence of loss and the pages are numbered sequentially so I can only assume that it was issued like this. 7 plates. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 412g.(YBP Ref: 023228:3e)
