Scarce. This item comprises all 26 copies of 'Live Stock Hobbies' magazine which were published separately before it was incorporated into its elder companion periodical of 'Hobbies' (see p612) The spine reads Vol 1 but I understand there were never any further copies produced in this form. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are marked and generally grubby and completely detached from the textblock. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. A ruled sheet has been bound in to the front and rear. The front sheet has been used to create a handwritten contents page. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean and well held. 624 pp. Remains of a previous owner's bookplate to fep. Additional photos are available upon request.
